mind detox day two: food

i washed my dirty mind with bleach the other day, but i still feel dirty.

i’ve realized that cleaning my dirty body parts (the breasts) is not as same as cleaning my mind.

this time, i worked from the inside by eating food that will hopefully clean my mind, eventually.

tonight’s supper is a three course menu:

1: red salad
2: purple salad
3: …white+orange+pale sage+french grey 70% salad

colourful food makes me happy. hopefully tonight’s supper will help me see things more clearly.

i’d like to tell you the exact recipe i used, but i didn’t measure anything at all. totally improvised. i’ll try to guess the possible ingredients and the amount that i might have used.

1:red salad

a can of beets in water, sliced (fresh ones are better if you can find baby beets)
green onion, thinly sliced

for dressing:

1 tsp dijon mustard,
1 basil leaf, finely chopped,
freshly squeezed orange juice (about 1/8 of orange),
a pinch of orange zest,
a dash of hot sauce,
a dash of extra virgin olive oil,
s + p

2:purple salad

3 leaves of red cabbage, thinly sliced,
1 tomato, diced,
1 TB celery, brunoise,

for dressing,

1 TB of balkan yogurt,
a pinch of dried oregano,
a dash of red wine vinegar,
a dash of hot sauce,
s + p

3:…white+orange+pale sage+french grey 70% salad

soba noodles, as much as you like, cook acordingly,
2 leaves of chinese cabbage, sliced and steamed,
1 carrot, cut into julienne and steamed,
some tofu, cut like bricks and boiled

for dressing,

2 TB of rice vinegar,
a dash of soy sauce,
a dash of mirin,
some roasted sesame seeds,
1/2 tsp of grated ginger, if you like.

hopefully these recipes are correct and result in a tasty supper.
