with paul and anthony easton, who curated the 1950 ford show at the art gallery of alberta. yuka’s drawing for the show can be seen at the top of this photo. we couldn’t make it to the opening, but we went to anthony’s curator’s talk the next afternoon. then we spent the rest of the weekend in edmonton.
it’s a tradition in japan that babies pretend to eat solid food when they turn 100 days old. it’s supposed to be adult food, but we used homemade baby food instead.
elijah didn’t eat any of it.
