Shipping Options
All orders are shipped via Canada Post and its affiliated services. At checkout, customers can select from a table of shipping options which lists service type, price, and expected delivery date. The cost of the shipping service selected is included in the final price of the order when completed.
Shipping Estimate in Shopping Cart
The Canada Post shipping options table can also be displayed from the shopping cart page, giving customers an estimate of their expected shipping costs. This service can be accessed by clicking the "estimate shipping" button located just below the shopping cart item list. This button only appears for logged in customers.
The "estimate shipping" function calculates shipping costs based on the customer's primary address. Customers wishing to ship their order to a different address can receive an estimate for that cost by adding entries to their address book, located on the "My Account" page, then selecting the address they want from the dropdown menu in the "Estimate Shipping" box.
In the event of any discrepancy between the shipping estimate provided in the shopping cart, and the shipping cost listed at checkout and at order confirmation, the shipping cost will be taken as valid.
Shipping Costs
Shipping prices are calculated automatically by Canada Post. Their prices take into account the shipping address (plastique monkey SHOP is located in Saskatoon, Canada), delivery address, package size and weight, and the number of packages. Plastique monkey SHOP does not charge handling fees.
Shipping costs are taxed (GST or HST) for addresses within Canada. Saskatchewan PST is also applied for Saskatchewan shipping addresses.
The shipping cost stated at order confirmation is the cost paid by the customer. In the event of any discrepancy between that value and the actual cost paid by plastique monkey SHOP to ship the order with the requested service, no alteration in the cost paid by the customer will be made.
Canada Post's service provides shipping of your parcel from plastique monkey SHOP to you. Any additional shipping costs, including taxes, duties, fees or levies associated with that delivery, are to be paid by the customer. Please consult local authorities as applicable. The contents and value of your package will be listed accurately on any customs declarations.
Order Processing and Status
All plastique monkey SHOP order are carefully assembled by hand. Typically, orders ship within 1-2 business days. Some orders may take longer to prepare. If there is an unexpected delay in preparing your order for shipping, you will be notified by email.
When your package has shipped, your order status will be updated to "shipped" and an automated email notification will be sent to the email address provided. At any time, you can check the status of any of your orders by clicking "View all orders" on the "My Account Page".
Expected Delivery Date
The Canada Post shipping table accessible from the shopping cart ("Estimate Shipping" button) and displayed at checkout and order confirmation includes the expected delivery dates of the various shipping options. These dates take into account the expected order processing time at plastique monkey SHOP, expected shipping times from Saskatoon to your location, and scheduled business days and holidays. They do not include local processing delays, such as those that may occur at customs.
The expected delivery date for your order is provided only as an estimate; no guarantee is made that your order will arrive within that time frame. In particular, no guarantee is made of delivery dates during the winter holiday season.

Returns
Many of the items in plastique monkey SHOP are one-of-a-kind and/or crafted by hand. Slight differences may occur, and there may be some discrepancies between the display of the item on this site and its actual appearance. Please see the "Product Information" section on the Conditions page for more details.
However, if you are not happy with your order please email me to work out a return. Ideally, we would try to work out an exchange. To arrange this, you must email me within 7 days of receiving your order, and the item would need to be shipped back in the same condition that it arrived. Returns must be shipped in their original packaging via priority mail with delivery confrimation. Please keep in mind that shipping charges are non-refundable.
